Dedham Vale Vineyard is set in 40 acres of glorious rolling English countryside, on the edge of the Stour Valley in the Dedham Vale.
The vineyard produces six styles of award winning wines, and the Estate offers its proprietary cider, signature fruit liqueurs, tours, and a beautiful wedding venue.
Dedham Vale Vineyard has been producing outstanding wine from its 40 acre estate for over 25 years. Lying on the edge of the Stour Valley at Boxted, the vineyard grows and produces six styles of award-winning English wine and Carter’s Cider.
'Sunshine into wine' is our motto at Dedham Vale Vineyard as we harness the favourable East Anglian climate to produce our still and sparkling wines. We grow and process all the grapes we use in our wines and sell through our Vineyard Shop and in shops and wine mechants around the UK. Tom and Ben Bunting are passionate about English wine and encourage visitors to visit the vineyard and discovering the story from grape to glass.
Dedham Vale Vineyard occupies a unique setting on the edge of the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Beauty, a short ten minute walk from the Essex and Suffolk border.
Set in forty acres of vines, woods and pasture, the Vineyard lends itself as the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, rural and informal wedding or celebration. And we’re more than happy if you and your guests want to bring your own tents, camper vans or caravans and stay overnight!

The Vineyard Shop and Tasting Barn are open for tea, coffee and tours from March through to October. Sample the wines and wander through the vines as you enjoy this glorious part of North Essex. Our self-guided vineyard trail and tasting is open throughout the season and guided tours, tasting and lunch or afternoon tea can be booked in advance.
The vineyard is on the Essex Way with lovely walks through the surrounding countryside and bicycle hire is on offer at the vineyard to take you further afield through the quiet country lanes and villages of Constable Country.
