You can buy day tickets on the gate but not weekend camping tickets. Day tickets are also cheaper if you buy in advance.

Can I bring my children and do they need a ticket?

Children (under the age of 18) are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult. Children under the age of 18 are free to enter. We have bouncy castles and face-painters operating on site. If you are not bringing children along, please be mindful that others may and that this is a family event.

I cannot come any more, can I have a refund?

No, as stated in the information upon purchase of your ticket, tickets are non-refundable. (Give them to a friend, I'm sure they'll appreciate the day out)

I have a day ticket, when should/can I arrive?

Please arrive after 11am. The bar, BBQ and Music starts at midday.

I have a weekend ticket when should/can I arrive?

You can come and pitch your tent etc. from 8am on Saturday morning. Between 8am and 10.45am you will be able to drive cars into the camping areas to unload after 10.45am cars will not be permitted in the campsite. Please aim to unload and get your car into the carparks as soon as possible, to make room for other guests.

If you arrive after 10.30am you will be directed to the carpark directly and can carry your camping gear to the campsite.

MOTORHOMES AND CARAVANS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED INTO THE CAMPSITE AFTER 11AM and if parked in the camping areas must remain there until the Monday morning.

Can I come and set up on Friday night?

No, unfortunately, we cannot allow this. There is a lot for our small team to organize already in the run-up and we would be unable to make sure you're in the right place etc.

I have a weekend ticket when should/can I leave?

If you are not in a motorhome or caravan you can head off whenever you want, so long as you carry your tent etc to the carpark. No public vehicle movement will be permitted in the camping areas between 11am on Saturday and 6.30am on Monday.

Can bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome on leads, but will not be allowed into the tasting barn? Please clear up after your dog and do not disturb the wildlife!

My dog is better than other dogs, can I let them off the lead?

No. We love our vineyard dog, Cooper, a lot too, but he is still going to have to be on a lead for the duration of the festival. Please have your dog follow his example and remain on a lead too.

The lake looks nice, can I fish?

Fishing on-site is not permitted.

What facilities are on-site for campers?

There are toilets on site for campers and tap water is available. There are no showers on site.

We have limited space which we offer on a first come first pitch basis. Dedham Vale Vineyard is not an official campsite, so expect a festival vibe; a few fields where you are able to camp, and access to this is limited as the camping area is behind the vines.

With this in mind, please try to be courteous to your neighbors and economic with your use of camping space.

Please also take litter with you offsite and clean up after yourself; we want to keep the Vineyard looking beautiful.

What time does the festival start?

The music, bar and BBQ start at midday

Is there disabled access?

Yes, please inform the marshalls upon arrival and they will direct you accordingly. There are also disabled toilet facilities on site.

I am not a very polite person, what if a member of Dedham Vale Vineyard asks me politely to do something and I don't want to?

Everyone on the Dedham Vale Vineyard team wants everyone to have a great weekend, so please be considerate to your fellow campers and our staff whilst on site. Please do what we ask, there is often a good reason, and we are trying our best.
