Covid-19 DVV Questions

Is your wine shop open?

While we have closed our wine shop here at the vineyard, our online shop is still open where you can order wine for delivery, or click and collect between within our collection hours.

Is your online shop still delivering?

Yes, our online shop is still delivering wine as usual. You can also buy online and collect. Our collection opening hours are Mon - Fri, 1600 - 1800. Please make sure you've received a confirmation email before coming to collect.

Will you be running your tours this year?

It is our hope that we will be able to re-open our wine tours later in the year, once government guidelines relax a little. If you have a voucher and are concerned about its impending expiry please see more information below.

I have a Dedham Vale Vineyard tour voucher, what can I do?

Our tour season usually starts at the beginning of April, but this year we have not been able to operate any of our tours due to Covid-19. If you have a 'Dedham Vale Vineyard' tour voucher with an expiry date after April 1st 2020, your voucher will be automatically extended once we are able to reopen tour dates. We expect to extend vouchers that have expired for a 3 month period after our tours restart, however we will be able to finalize this when we know when that is.

How do I tell what type of tour voucher I have?

'Dedham Vale Vineyard' tour vouchers are bought from us directly, they have a 16-digit code in the format xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx, the first two digits are DX, DW, or DV. If you voucher doesn't follow this format it is most likely from a third party voucher company such as Buy a gift.

I have a third party voucher, what can I do?

If you have a third party tour voucher from a company such as 'Buy a Gift' or 'Red letter days', please contact the provider directly. We will not be able to extend or validate expired vouchers from third party providers; we are only able to redeem valid vouchers when a booking is made.

Can I still buy a tour voucher as a gift?

Yes. New vouchers will have validity to the end of 2020 but will also fall under the same extension policy above, meaning the recipient of your voucher will automatically have their voucher expiry extended to cover our new tour dates, if we are unable to open in 2020.

How will I know when tour dates are back open?

You can check our Tours section on our website. When we do open our tours, tour dates will become available. If you are concerned that you will miss this, please sign up to our mailing list on our home page, and we will send out an email when our tours start back up. Please note, newsletters are occasionally diverted to junk by some mail providers, so do check back either way.

Is the vineyard still available to hire for Weddings or Events?

Yes. While we are not operating any public events right now, if you are planning a wedding for 2021 or 2022, or have had your wedding cancelled this year at a different venue and would like to book, we are able to show you the site, and provide more information about private events here at Dedham Vale Vineyard.
