Vineyard Tours

Following the difficult decision to remain closed throughout the 2021 season, we decided to move forward on plans to build a brand new Tasting Barn, Winery and holiday accommodation on site (visualisation pictured above). These construction projects are well underway, however, due to delays we are unfortunately remaining closed to the public for the 2022 season.

As many will appreciate, the world isn't quite as predictable as it might have been. That said, we hope to have the build finished towards the end of the year, and aim to run tours in our brand new facilities next year.

What does this mean for tours and vouchers?

All Dedham Vale Vineyard vouchers that expired after April 1st 2020 were automatically extended to maintain the validity period that they would have had on that date up to 1 year. This included any vouchers purchased after that date or in the future.

e.g. if your voucher expired on May 1st 2020, it will be valid for 1 month from when we reopen, and the June 1st 2020 expiry would be 2 months from when we open etc.

Tour dates will be made available on our website when we have greater confidence in project completion timing. (We will send another update email to subscribers when they go live)

If you have a "Buy a Gift" or other 3rd party vouchers, please contact your voucher provider directly for an extension or a transfer to an alternative activity.

If you have any concerns or further queries about this please contact us via phone - or refer to our Frequently Asked Questions below

THANK YOU SO MUCH

for your patience.

It has been a really tricky time for so many over the last year or so and we cannot wait to welcome you to our new facilities.

Please see more information on our tours section.

How do I tell what type of tour voucher I have?

'Dedham Vale Vineyard' tour vouchers are bought from us directly, they have a 16-digit code in the format xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx, the first two digits are DX, DW, or DV. If you voucher doesn't follow this format it is most likely from a third party voucher company such as Buy a gift.

I have a third party voucher, what can I do?

If you have a third party tour voucher from a company such as 'Buy a Gift' or 'Red letter days', please contact the provider directly. We will not be able to extend or validate expired vouchers from third party providers; we are only able to redeem valid vouchers when a booking is made.

Can I still buy a tour voucher as a gift?

No, following the difficult decision to remain closed throughout 2021 we are no longer selling our tour vouchers.

Is the vineyard still available to hire for Weddings or Events?

Yes. However, we are a dry venue and are only able to host receptions as we do not have a marriage license.
