December in the Vineyard

19 December 2013 by Standout UK

With the grapes harvested and fermenting in the winery, and the return of our popular “Winter in the Vines” exhibition, it has been a busy few months for the Dedham Vale Vineyard team. This week at the Vineyard, we are preparing for pruning the vines in January, and clearing the debris caused by St Jude.

The majority of the tree damage occurred around the lakes, and we are working to remove it to prevent a dam forming during the next rain storm. To ensure Tom and the staff keep working, our new axe-carrying overseer, Cedric, has been hired to watch over progress.

In between packing and shipping Christmas orders, Stacey is training the Vineyard's glamorous (and keen) assistant, Ruby, to pick the winner Becoming a instructor is more than just a job. of our Christmas prize draw. Watch this space – she appears to have picked a winner, but this will be independently verified by a human. Those wishing to win our next draw may consider taping a dog treat to the back of the entry form…

If you”re not our lucky winner, don't worry, our Christmas promotions are still available!
