The first of an exciting programme of events for 2015: Meet the Oysterman: Haward’s Oysters on Saturday 21st February.
Over a seafood lunch, Richard will joining us in the Tasting Barn to talk about life as a seventh generation oysterman on Mersea Island. It promises to be a fascinating event and tickets include six native oysters, a seafood platter from The Company Shed and a glass of Dedham Vale Bacchus. Booking is essential!
Out on the vineyard, the Dedham Vale Team are braving the cold to prune the vines. This year, we are holding a Vine Pruning Course on Saturday 14th February. It is a practical hands-on course, and an opportunity to learn about viticulture and hone your pruning skills amongst the vines – yes, we are letting you loose on the Dedham Vale Vines, under the supervision of our experts of course!
And finally, on Saturday 31st January, we will be a the Piatto Fine Wine & Deli (28 Priory St, Colchester), for a wine tasting from 12 noon to 4pm. We are pleased to announce that both Piatto’s Frinton and Colchester shops are now stocking the Dedham Vale range.
